Maureen Braimbridge is the Executive Assistant to the CEO of a large Accounting and Consulting firm, located in Washington, DC. She is a hardworking, dedicated and experienced professional with over 35 years of administrative and professional experience. She supports senior level executives in areas such as project coordination, event planning, travel scheduling, proposal preparation, and recruiting.

Maureen manages multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment and maintains positive relationships internally, across all levels of management, and externally with clients and business professionals. Maureen helped to form the professional alliances between and among The National Association of Black Accountants of the US, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica and The Association for the Advancement of Black Accountants of Southern Africa.

She was born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in London, England where her passion for helping others was developed, and where she honed her event planning and team building skills. After

moving to Staten Island, NY, her experience and vibrant personality placed her into planning, coordinating and executing corporate conferences, meetings and social events. Maureen has successfully planned events for groups of up to 2000 employees, clients and affiliates. She has also organized travel and entertainment for groups travelling to numerous countries. She is often complimented on her enthusiasm, responsiveness and energetic manner.

Maureen prides herself on giving back to her community and helping those who need it most.

She serves on the Board of Directors of Breath DC., Zonta Club of Mid-Maryland and, in addition, has raised funds for numerous organizations, including:

During the COVID pandemic, she has dedicated one day per week to packing and distributing food with the Lighthouse Ministries Food Pantry.

Education

Maureen is a graduate and holds an Associate Degree from the Brixton College, located in London, England.
